Was there any fat or tallow on the arrow? Probably not since the arrow was red from end to end. If you punctured the chest cavity, she is a gonner. If not she' ll bleed like heck and be all right. Since you were in a tree stand, the angle might have been a factor also in putting the arrow through the brisket. But if no fat then I don' t know. I always go to water after I lose the trail. It seems they get a fever or just want to soak the wound. That is always my last straw, find some stream or pond or forest puddle to look in and all around. Hope you find her or I hope she lives.
