I have zero problems as well, and with the tape my threads are almost spotless. makes the BP area alot easier to clean. My old disc actually will have blow back without tape.
I imagine the mountaineer is more difficult to clean as is my Wolverine. i bought a synthetic brush and BC bore scrubber, it makes cleaning it a lot quicker.the Triumph is a snap to clean up..
