Thanks for the info Vapodog and Big Bob. I forgot to mention that I did install a Timney trigger in that rifle. The original trigger had the worst and longest creep that I have ever felt. I like this new trigger.
You all have me fired up about glass bedding this rifle. Lucky for me, a gunsmith with tons of experience opened for business about a half mile away. I' ll talk to him about the bedding job.
