Don't shoot that bow before changing the strings out,strings are old and dried out and could split on ya. Giving you grief and injury,not a way to get back in the fold. Get them changed out and good luck with it.

Thank you youngfart, I have already done that. My younger brother some time ago thought it was a good Idea to dry fire it (with original strings from what I could tell) and snapped the string. Luckily he wasnt hurt but I have replaced them. After I get some money saved up for a new bow I will retire it to the mantel place.
