Burris or Bushnell ???
I am considering buying a new scope for my .270WSM. I am soon to be 70yrs old, and need the "brightest" and "clearest" scope for the early morning, and late afternoon hour hunts when light is at its dimmest. My eyes do not do very good in dim light conditions when hunting is at its best, because of cataract surgeries, and glaucoma damage.
The two scopes I am considering are:
1) Burris Black Diamond , 30mm tube, 4x16x50
and
2) Bushnell 6500 Elite, 30mm tube, 2,5x16x50
The difference in power range makes no difference to me, I am just interested in brightness, and clarity.
Have any of you had any experience with these ???
