I think when them bucks are in heavy rut you could do about anything you like and not spook them. They are kind of one minded.

I had a person tell me once that when he was working on his farm, he had a buck during rut, confront his tractor he was seated on. And did not want to move out of the way. Whether he was telling a story, I can not say, but the person I refer to is know to be a very honest person.
