Sorry to hear you not hunting yet this year, all i can say is i have had many seasons like you described but i have also had loads of fun and chalked up loads of memories... a lot of beautiful days with the leaves changing and just watching the woods come alive.
I guess you have to take the good with the bad and if you do have a wife that gets upset with you it does make a difference.. my wife has been really supportive of my archery hunting... so i cant complain at all...
But i wouldnt give up archery hunting for any other type of hunting!!....
maybe try to do some more scouting, and things will come together more, try to get involved in some late summer 3-D shoots, that usually get the blood pumping for me... Maybe get a new bow, and you might shoot better and have more confidence, i dont know what else to tell you other than your missing out on the best time to hunt and a lot of good memories...
