Hello, I' m new here...
I' m normally a gun hunter and have many different types of rifles, from shotgun to 30.06 and muzzloaders and have been deer hunting since ' 96. I tried bow hunting last year and decided not to do it again this year since I was not very successful. I spent a lot of time in the woods and only got off one shot. My wife wanted to shoot me with it since I was spending every weekend in the woods.
Also I have a older wooden compound bow, a little bigger than the Hoyt' s or PSE' s on the market today. I had it restrung and new sight added at Hunters Gallery in PA. I am also shooting Easton aluminum arrows with 100 grain tips.
I may start shooting it again in November to prepare for the late season in PA.
I appreciate any advice other than the usual that is shoot and shoot some more.
Thanks for being there...
Tom
