birchwood casey 2 in 1 cleaner. No stinky smell and normally a 2 patch clean up with BH209.

Do yourself a favor and make things easier on yourself. When you go to clean, run 2 or 3 DRY patches that tight real snug. This removes all the loose fouling from the bore and the solvent will get to the carbon a lot easier and remove it faster.

I started using one wet patch, let that sit for a few minutes then follow up with a bore brush, run a couple dry patches and then one more wet patch, scrub and dry patch. The 2 in 1 cleaner is some beautiful stuff!

You need a 3mm or #32 drill bit in order to clean the carbon from the breech plug. Just spin it with your fingers and you are good to go. A bronze or stainless tooth brush makes cleaning the fouling on the breech plug very easy.
