I have been using big game hang ons from menards, they had them on sale for 50 bucks so i bought a couple. I just use 2 ratchet straps to tie them down with and do not find it too difficult to do. I have used pegs and climbing sticks and if you can afford it i would definetaly go with the sticks. I still like my ladder stands but with hang ons i have the ability to set different heights for different scenarios.
