Thanks for the help. Honestly, I'm not sure what year, either 10 or 11, but I did buy it this year on a big sale at Cabelas. I tried the batteries with a digital meter, and as I recall at least on was like 1.2, but then I tried a new set, and it still did not work. However, I did not test the new batteries.
