The first ground blind of ours I set up for my 2nd son Artie in a field of bean stubble. I set up the blind 3 days before the hunt. It snowed on the second day and then got sunny and melted the snow off the doghouse. That thing stood out like a sore thumb out their with six inches of snow on the ground. Anyway, Sat morning the season opened and I got a call at 9 am that he had his deer gutted and ready to pick up. I think the key is lack of movement and the house keeps your scent inside.
I suppose they make the windows a height that works for most users, Maybe a higher chair would help Chet, I did not say high chair.
