MTBowhunter:if you haven't already done so, try this: 1)reformat your card in your computer, 2)check your batteries with a digital meter. One or more low battery can cause a camera to do funny things. By low, I mean 1.0 or lower voltage. I recently had a Moultrie D55-IR that would take a picture, but not the video. It had taken several pictures and videos. Checking, I found one battery had failed. I use rechargeables and just had to recharge the batteries. If the batteries are functioning properly, they all should read approximately the same even after some use, in other words their voltage should drop close to the same amount. The battery indication on the cameras does not help very much, because once a battery drops to 1.0 to 1.2 volt, the camera will not function properly or not at all. The batteries in that voltage range will still have enough power to operate a flashlight.
