And I use them to harvest deer now. I also would like to know what the new T/C shockwaves with the blue plastic tip would do? The package says bonded but not all copper.

They (t/c with blue tip) would cost me $1.13 per shot with sabot. Where the Barnes (T-ez) cost me $1.48 per shot with sabot's.

I was hoping to find a cheaper compromise with the deep curl.

But I have a feeling when hunting my confidence will be with Barnes...lol
