I, and a bunch of others on here had that same problem a couple of years ago. Man there were so many when I opened the security box, it literally looked like something out of a horror movie. I really don't know what to do to prevent them in the first place, as any repellent you put in there would have a scent. What I did afterwards was to put the cam in a trash bag with a wash rag soaked in bug killer. It definately got rid of them.
