My oh my! I know nothing about crossbows.

I do have one question though and cannot help but to ask it...........why would a crossbow be any more useful than a compound in that thick brush.......unless you feel you lack profientcy hunting with your compound? I for one, know of nobody who uses a crossbow that can outshoot a good compound bow shooter. Just wondering.
