I do not find it any better at all. I actually find it worse hunting on a wet rainy day with the wind blowing. Turkeys will not answer to any calls at all for me. A calm brisk morning appears tp work much better. I do see some turkeys during a rainy day but not nearly as many. We have had a lot of rain this spring and I do not feel the hens have gone to nest very good. This is making it harder to get the toms out. I have been seeing a few however. Take this morning (which is all we can hunt here) I saw a total of nine birds covering close to 68 miles of field. Normally on a calm day you can see thirty to fifety birds. I am not the only one finding this out either as hunting has been tough to say the least. Once we get a calm enough day I am planing on setting up 15 to 20 yards in the woods along this route. That should help me get a tom to come along. So I am hopeing this coming Friday or Saturday will be decent days.
