I would'nt say it's better to hunt them in the rain but it is a good time to hunt them as long as it's not pouring down. They do tend to move out on the edges or in the middle at times of a field when the rain messes with their hearing in the forest. I prefer a cool sunshine loaded day with no wind to speak of as far as weather goes when hunting. If it's not real hot I'll take some warmth before wetness any day,but you just have to be willing to go out in what ever they live in and find them. They go on doing what they do regardless of the weather and we must do the same and adjust our tacticts accordingly.
