If they're still sticking on the limbs good, I'd leave them on and not replace them.
Too much dampening is probably in the eye of the bow holder. As jag-mag says, I've also seen guys with dampening rubbers on every piece of thier bow, and to me, it's over kill and just not necassary. BUT, I suppose it gives them confidence, and that's most important when it's time to take the shot.
Personally, I don't have anything on my strings for silencing and have one limbsaver on each limb and the harmonic dampners on the riser, and that's it. Works for me.
