Too much dampening???
I have a Q2 and the limbsavers are the original mathews on them but the edges are a little gummed up. Which ones should i replace with and is there such a thing as putting too much dampening products on a bow?

I think you can, and have seen people with little dampening
devices on there sight, quiver, 4 on the string and cables 4 on the limbs etc.Over kill if you ask me, I do use the products myself but not to that extreme.

If they're still sticking on the limbs good, I'd leave them on and not replace them.
Too much dampening is probably in the eye of the bow holder. As jag-mag says, I've also seen guys with dampening rubbers on every piece of thier bow, and to me, it's over kill and just not necassary. BUT, I suppose it gives them confidence, and that's most important when it's time to take the shot.
Personally, I don't have anything on my strings for silencing and have one limbsaver on each limb and the harmonic dampners on the riser, and that's it. Works for me.
