I've used 150 grain Federal, Remington & Winchester out of my 30/06. Standard loads from Wal-mart. Don't see why a 308 woulld be any different. Get the one that your rifle likes the best & have fun out there in WY. Just don't shoot the 1st one you see. Antelope hunting is just plain FUN. CB
