Default RE: SKEEREWED my shoulder opening morning!

This is why I keep my bow hanging on a nail in the garage until the day before the season starts. Then I go out and shoot 2-3 arrows at one of those 3' x3' foam targets at about 10-15 yards. If I can hit that with all 3 arrows then I figure I have a good chance at hitting a deer out to 30-35 yards. Our deer are big here. That way I only pull my bow back half a dozen times a year or so, so I don' t put any strain on my arms. Oh, I also use good broadheads that I keep in the garage all year also, so if I hit a deer anywhere, it should go down. I scrape the rust off of them before a go out, though, just in case.

OK, don' t kill me, I' m just kidding. I just finished reading through all of the new posts today about ethics and shot placement and blaming equipment and all that stuff and I was feeling ornery.

I agree with Taz, go see a doctor. It just doesn' t seem worth the possible long term discomfort of not getting it checked out. I just got poked in the eye pretty hard this weekend to the point where I thought my eyeball probably got knocked out of the socket. Luckily it didn' t, and although it hurt like hell for a couple of days, I can see fine and it feels good today. However, I have an appointment tomorrow to get it checked, just in case.
