Me and G-Dawg went yote huntin last year before I got my caller. We got up in stands with our bows. We had a jackrabbit in distress tape (we don't even have jackrabbits here in Arkansas) and a Walkman. We didn't even have an amp speaker for the Walkman; we just put the tape in and turned it up as loud as we could, lowered it out of the stand on a string and let it play through for about 20 minutes nonstop. About 2 minutes after it stopped, two yotes came right up to it and sniffed it. I was like, "holy crap! it worked!" So a Walkman with a tape should work. It did for us.
