Yeap when we headed to florida in dec I stopped by the local pawn shop as we were about 100 bucks short of the c cash we needed to get down there. I got tired of pawn fees and was just going to let my ruger 10/22 go, he offered me 85 bucks, way lower then I would have even thought of letting it go, but since their 200 new, and my guess 150 or so max to a dealer I just opted to pawn it and told him nicely it was just not enough, when I cam back and bought my glock off of them, he cut me a deal and knocked 40 bucks off of it, even though the policy is no deals on new guns, as their already lower then everyone else.

I asked him how much he wanted for it and he told me $350. I just had to chuckle a little when I told him that he would never get that at a gun shop considering what a dealer buys them for new. He stormed out of the store and didn't even give me the chance to explain my offer.
Some people you just can't help.
The same thing happens with Browning A5's. They aren't worth nearly what people think they are worth. You'd think they were made of gold or something.
