I would be willing to bet that they will take care of the problem once they are notified. Other than cosmetics, does the bolt open and close smoothly? I assume the OP has not shot it to see if there are any defects? Just thinking that some are getting a little out of control before they know the whole story.
If you read all the pages of the thread there is another besides the origional poster who received the same bad craftsmanship.
How would you like it if you ordered a brand new truck and it was delivered with a scratch that ran down the whole side of it. Would you say, "its ok it does not effect how it drives.". I think not. He paid for a LE muzzleloader but got a refurb.
