I would say that there is a possibilty that this is the type of bolt that was to come with the gun???? Just because it is not polished does that make it inferior??? What if it went out by mistake and was shipped before it was polished??? I think before everyone beats the crap out of Knight the original poster needs to contact them and see what exactly the deal is?? Who knows? Knight has always been a high quality company with great standards, so really why would they want to ruin their "new" reputation now. I would be willing to bet that they will take care of the problem once they are notified. Other than cosmetics, does the bolt open and close smoothly? I assume the OP has not shot it to see if there are any defects? Just thinking that some are getting a little out of control before they know the whole story.
