The problem i have with the "old stock" statement is that all of mine have a chromed or polished finish except my GMB54 and MHCs which have jeweled bolts. These bolts in the pictures appear to have neither although the pic of a LRH on Knights website appear to be chromed or polished.

Its damn hard to miss an important step such as chroming or polishing. These pics look like rejects that were not good enough to be finished in the final process. Its very disappointing considering my NEW LRH barreled action is pristine and even my most heavily used old bolt looks much better. Not one of my 5 bolts have a finish that looks anything like these. They have some tolerance variations but are well within my standards for appearance.

I don't want to bust anyone's balls, i just want a great quality AMERICAN made product that shows the pride of its craftsmen. I have high hopes that this issue will not be the norm and im sure if Lehigh is making the new bolts, you will be amazed at the quality.

When the new higher quality Lehigh bolts are available i will be getting one for sure if they will fit my older rifles. I love his work and his products reflect his pride in making the best he can.
