John, No you can never have to many. I have my fair share of Ruger's. From long guns to handguns. I'm not a real big fan of the Ruger semi auto's with very little experince in the centerfire models. Now their revolvers both S/A and D/A are second to none for the money. I'm pretty fond of their rifles also. Just take your time and you'll get what you want. It's hard to part with them which I guess you learned already.
