I prefer a composite for hunting too and if its on a sled at the range. I kinda prefer buying a new gun with a standard laminate though if the price isn't much different because getting a laminate later can be expensive or REALLY hard to find. Laminate THs though are usually too heavy so i avoid them unless its a really good deal.

I kinda like the quality of the older Knight composites too. My MK's is very good quality and really light but its very plain jane.
