i wonder if ruger still uses douglas barrels for their no.1 rifles. the older ruger no.1 rifles are legendary around my end of the woods but the newer ones are only so so. i heard ruger got their hammer mills from steyr which would make sence since steyr has made hammer mills for several other companies.
