Breechplug

Problem is Breech some states will only allow a 1X scope amd that is far better than no-power....

Cayugad has several and really like them.

I can not help you with any information about the TC scopes... Here is some general information....

Thompson/Center’s Recoil Proof Pistol Scopes have been designed to withstand the rigors of heavy recoil, produced when firing heavy centerfire rifle cartridges in the Contender™ or Encore®. Thousands of rounds were expended in the brutal testing of these scopes. Zero points were checked and rechecked, as well as structural and optical components. T/C Recoil Proof Scopes offer superior performance where its needed the most, that's why we back every Recoil Proof Scope with our famous Lifetime Warranty.

Lenses are ground, polished and coated for exceptional clarity

All T/C Recoil Proof Pistol Scopes have the finest lenses in the world and are precision ground, polished and coated to provide maximum light gathering ability.
Nitrogen filled to prevent fogging

Recoil Proof Pistol Scopes are nitrogen filled to prevent fogging in adverse weather conditions. The turret caps are weatherproof, and scope components are sealed to keep out dust and moisture. Selected models of our pistol scopes have a lighted centerplex reticle. In the low light conditions of both dawn and dusk when game is most active, the lighted reticle can often make the difference in pinpoint crosshair alignment becoming the determining factor on whether you shoot or not. By simply turning the switch, the crosshairs are illuminated, “glowing like fire.”
