I was wondering what your thoughts were on this sale and if it was worth it. Cabelas is selling their .50 cal flintlock hawken kit for 299.99 normally 450.00. Is it a good buy? Isn't the gun parts made in Italy? The twist is 1:48. So not a round ball nor a sabot. Is the lock good? Does anybody own one? Sorry alot of questions. Just wanted a kit to do one day and thought this might be the way to go. I would try and hunt with this rifle.
