i adjust the scope using a laser boresighter indoors at a distance of 25 feet. My first shot at the range is at 50 yards. A silhouette target with a large paper backer is used: The 1.5" bullseyes are stuck on the backer. The first round is always on the 50 yard target.

My sighting in is done from an adjustable front rest and a rabbit ear rear bag.
