The muzzleloader I had mentioned I thought I could get for $30.00 wasn't a Hawkins.It was a Renegade.I bought it anyway for $30.00.It doesn't look like the barrel has been cut off (shortened) but I can't tell for sure.The barrel length is 23.25 inches.So is that a standard barrel length or does anyone believe it may have been cut down to that size.The hardware is in pretty good shape but the barrel looks rough.It's rusted inside and scratched up around the nipple.The guy that was holding it for the owner was trying to get the nipple out without a nipple wrench and scratched it up.I'll probably replace the barrel anyway.The hardware is in pretty good shape,hardly any rust on it.And the stock is in good shapen,not all scratched up and no cracks.
