I like my flinters I have one set with a rear peep man it like shooting a scope: I also have one set up with fiber optic sights when I hunted late christmas late flint lock.
I gave it a shot on the fist 3 days of the late B/P season here in n.y.s.
I came up with 0 in the han-ock n.y. area saw a small doe but I let her pass I think she the same doe I seen all season behind the house: I know she was running with a brother spike both yearling and stupid man you can build a barn fire and they would stand there and watch
I think she made it but the brother did not.
I was over in Liberty which has a 3 point restriction with brow tine no luck there seen a wide 4 pointer no brow tine well could not shoot.
I did take a large doe during the gun season with my 38-55 other then that noting.I would have gone back up but came down with a bad cold
I wish they would have a early season in b/p in the southern zone but it would never happen .
