I haven't heard anyone say that the scope was bad. As long as it holds its zero it would be a place to start.

The scope is not at all bad and it has held zero for the last two seasons needing no adjustments.
It is not as clear as my Nikon Slugger scope.
IMHO it's a perfect setup for a budget minded hunter and it will get the job done.
