I apply for the Wyoming cow tag because I prefer to hunt in Wyoming. The Wyoming rifle season opens earlier when the winter weather is not as much of a factor as it can be in Montana.
I also feel Wyoming has better elk hunting.
My hat goes off to the Wyoming Game & Fish, they do a great job managing there wildlife!
