If you only plan on buying one camera I would recommend spending the extra money or saving until you have the extra money for a Reconyx. They are spendy but after owning trail cameras from Recon, Trailtimer, Cuddeback, Moutrie and Reconyx I strongly believe if you don't invest the extra money you will have spent a lot more by the time you realize you have too. Don't make the same mistake I did. Moultrie makes a good camera with exceptional battery life and the offer good service if you need it but Reconyx offers everything from great pictures to having a function on every camera to meet every need. My Reconyx RM-45 I received nearly 14000 pictures on 1 set of AA Lithium batteries last year. No one can beat that
I agree, you get what you pay for. I would rather have one good working camera than 3 that do not work most of the time and you have to send them back. I am going to look into the Reconyx. I do not know if I have seen any yet. Thanks
