Thanks for the info. I just wanted to make sure deer actually would eat the Winter-Greens plants. Apparently they are supposed to stand tall during the late fall/winter seasons.
I have a new food plot location that I want to try this seed for a winter food source for the deer next year. I have the soil disked several times and already prepped with lime & fertilizer. All I have to do now is spray some more Roundup to kill off any additional ferns next spring and early summer before I plant. I just hope we get as much rain next year as we did this year and it should grow pretty good.
