I have the 700SPS in 308WIN, and it's an amazing rifle.
Everyone should have the opportunity to own and shoot such a fine firearm in their lifetime...not real fun to hump around though...it's a brick.
But, it's super accurate out of the box!
I'd replace the stock with something better as soon as you're able.
Then, you'll see what that rifle will really do!
