yes cva has a lifetime warranty. You should give them a phone call. and do it quick because they will be shut down until mid january as they are moving to a bigger building.

I just thought about it but the optima barrel doesnt pin to the barrel, it just slips under the pin. Could be something with the lock up spring. Have you ever used some carb cleaner and sprayed out the action? this area gets a lot of fouling in it and could be causing some binding issues.
