I'm no expert on scents, that's for sure. I have tried some and kinda like BigRidge said, no real convincing results. What I do know that ya gotta keep in mind what time of year it is before you lay down certain scents. Don't thow down a bunch of doe-in-heat or buck-in-rut down in September. They are smart enough to know that is wrong. I had some doe in estrous scent down Sunday morning and had a bunch of does come in, smell it and freak the hell out and flag and trot back the way they came. As 7.62NATO said, sometimes they may do more harm than good. Obviously I put it down to try to attract big daddy, but I would've been REALLY happy taking the 140 pound doe that I was about to draw on before she took off!
