The 1100 is a pleasure to shoot..The felt recoil is much less than a fixed breech gun... I have never seen one that was not dependable, as long as it is kept clean...Don't douse the working parts in oil..They are designed to function with very little lubrication.. A light coat of oil to inhibit rust is sufficient..

You have a fine classic American shotgun....It is the gas operated auto that all other gas operated autos are compared to...
Darn good post!!!!

I've owned a couple Remmy 1100s....loved them both.....one (a trap gun) was stolen and the other was a 3" and I traded it for a Citori O/U....another great gun!
