Sadly enough a full moon DOES effect rut activity. Or more precisely visual confirmation of such movement. Always hunt daylight to dark during the rut, but ESPECIALLY during a full moon phase. Typically the first half hour of light is good, then the 10-2 time period is good followed by the last hour of light in the afternoon. BUT as we all know, when a hot doe is in the mix, ALL bets are off!!!
