You are the only one that can decide if its worth it. Being a long time handloader, as me and some of these other guys are obviously we look at load development from a different angle. Its part of what we do. I have done it for 3-4 different friends primarily for varmint/prairie dog rifles. All I got was some powder, primers and bullets out of the deal. I am surprised with what you have into the gun that it doesn't shoot much better and thru the years I have been very lucky in that I had little trouble finding laods that shot good (at least to my standards) in factory rifles.
