Sorry, I am not use to this forum yet, as I was saying. I went up the 1709 road and ran into the 1706/1709 bifurcation. I didn' t however go down the 1706. Where are these clear cuts that everyone seems to know about? I was planning on camping at the end of 1791 and hiking up to the clearcuts above that. There seemed to be a nice spring up there but I didn' t see any fresh sign. The ridge above the 1791, where does that drop into on the back side? Would you recommend the green trails map for old scab mt as a good map or is there a better one? Do any of you think they will still be bugeling at this time?
