These guys that recommend a Bitzenberger aren't blowing smoke.
Walk into just about any shop that does refletching and see what they use. Invariably you're going to see Bitzenbergers and for obvious reasons.

They are the most versatile, most durable, and most accurate jigs you can buy. It takes a little trial and error but the same jig can be used for straight, straight offset, right helical or left helical just by changing clamps and adjusting the jig itself.

I got mine about 35 years ago and it still does all I need to do. I have always done helical so have both right and left clamps. I shoot mostly feathers and shoot either hand depending on what kind of deals I find. Last batch I bought was a bag of Trueflight 4" in black---$2 for the whole bag. So they're black. Who cares?

I've fletched anything from 1.5" vanes up to and including 5" feathers. It can do it all and do it for a lifetime.
