One of two things happened...The farmer didn't know how to set his combine properly and left a lot of corn in the field or...Ya'll had a dry year which ended up with the ears being smaller then usual...In this situation you have to adjust the picker bars in very tight or the cob gets shelled at the rollers...Sometimes you can't get them in close enough for the stalk to pass through and pick the ears off as well...
