Ive got two i40s and the battery life is awesome. I can go a few months and couple thousand pictures before changing batteries. I wouldnt shy away from them. the only thing ive noticed however is the display screen goes out on them. I also bought one of the moultrie i35s but its not near as good at night as it dont have near the amount of infared bulbs. Im thinking of trying the primos as mentioned above as they have many bulbs for a pretty good price. Good luck. Game cams are extremely addictive!! Love em
