I had/have to do the same thing with my mid 90s era LK93 which is similar. Usually i need to pull the trigger to get a socket or tool on the breach plug and get it out too.

It may be a bit harder to clean than some guns but it does shoot very well with just about anything i stuff it in. Cleaning time differences are so minimal i dont care and its always the one i grab when i just want to have some fun.

This is one design that to me that cleaning it is a "labor of love".
